The Opportunity:
Every year, the CZI team sees outstanding examples of schools using the Summit learning platform to create personalized instructional experiences for students, but they are rarely celebrated or shared with the broader educational community. So the Summit Learning Spotlight program was born. The program honors outstanding teachers and schools nationwide through community-nominated voting. In the late spring of 2018, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and RLP Media partnered to help launch a new spotlight series for Summit Learning. The project included multiple videos, written content, and photography.
The Work:
To help highlight the schools that won the community vote, RLP and CZI traveled across the country to rural Kentucky, Coastal Maryland, and Mission-control Texas to create videos highlighting the unique ways they were using The Summit Learning Program with their students.
